A perfect time to craft

Hello everybody!

Im a few days late with my blog post but here we go!

Theres a new challenge up and running over at a perfect time to craft yay!

Our sponsor for this month is sheep ski designs and i have used a digi image called coffee and cake.

I wanted to try to do a little matchbox suite case that i filled with some yummy tasting tea bags, who doesent want a warm cup of yummy tea now when its still kinda cold outside and your just longing for the warmer days and spring to arrive. Here in Sweden we have +5c at the moment, so not too bad.

This is how it turned out.....

I used some distress stain and sprays to color the wooden flowers and leaves.

Then i added some golden mica powder on top of them to get some shimmer.

The papers i have used is from maja design called "fika". Dont know if you ever heard of swedish fika? Its kinda like well lets meet over some coffee and cake, and how matchy, matchy isnt that with the digi images name?!

I colored the images with my copics. I used flowers from my stash, a few dies and then i found the little spoon, cup cake and tea pot charms.

I made a little mini card where i put some tags so that you can write a little message. On the band around the little card i put the cup cake image and then i filled the box with tea bags.

So guess what! its about noon over here so now im going to go fix me some "fika"!

A place to start

Hello!

Its februari and time for a new challenge over at A place to start.

This months twist to the anything goes is .... monohcrome.

I choose to go with the color pink and this is what i came up with....

The papers are from magnolia and so is the big butterfly die cut....

I wanted to do a easel card with this black and white little girl holding her flowers, and something that looked like a brick wall. So i found this chipboard window and some small chipboard pieces that i first painted with gesso and then put some reisin sand on and then dry embossed it with pink/gold embossing powder, same with the frame. The butterfly i embossed with white/gold embossing powder.

Kinda looks like a brick wall....

Then some flowers, die cuts and more chipboard pieces...

and lastly i stamped the word fabulous on the frame.

I cant wait to see what you al will create for this months challenge.

Good morning everybody!

Here in Sweden we have a lovely sunny morning and 2+ c and almost al the snow is gone. I hope this weather will keep up cause i really dont like to go outside in the mornings when its - 20 c, and the funny thing is that neither does the little doggy. When its cold or rainy i have to carry her out. Bonny is hubbys daughters doggy but we have her Monday to Friday while shes at work, and Bonny is just like me, we dont like cold or rainy days and we dont like to go on long walks, lol.

I just have to share a few photos of her, cause even tho shes a bit crazy at times she gets away with almoust everything because she is so cute.

Enough about the doggy and on to the new challenge over at 613 create,yay!

This month challenge is as always anything goes but with the twist love letters.

I decided to do a little mini album to hubbys daughter and grandie.

Its an album from paisleys and polkadots that i have had for over ten years, and the fun part is that al the bits and pieces is already there you just have to assamble it and take off or ad on anything you want and i am that ad on girl

Hubbys daughter really loved it and she will give it as a birthday/valentines present to our grandie since her birthday is februari 6th.

A perfect time to craft

Hello everybody!

Its a new month and a new challenge is up and running over at a perfect time to craft yay!

Im so happy to be joining the dt with al the wonderful and talanted ladies.

Since its februari and valentines day is around the corner i choosed to work with theese beloved papers sweetest love so valentiny to me.

I wanted to try to do a shaker pop up card, never made one before. I have to admit i kinda pulled my hair out with this one and realized that i really need a score board, lol. 

Anyways here is what i ended up with....

The papers and little cut outs are so darn cute!

i made a little shaker window....

a few little cute tags and so that you can write a little message....

and a lot of flowers, leaves, die cuts and other cute stuff that i found i my stash.

Thats al from me for this time and i wanna wish you al a happy valentines when it comes.

Hello and good morning!

Today is a really cold but beautiful day outside. We have -17c outside here in sweden today, brrrr!

I had to go outside and take a few photos in the sun, and speaking of the sun, over at 613 create we have a new challenge up. As always its an anything goes challenge, but this months optional twist is new beginnings and that made me think of spring. Its a new beginning for al the flowers, trees and nature, so i made a little spring banner.

Heres my little banner....

Once again I dug in to my stash and found a kit with some beautiful Websters pages papers, so i decided to go with that. I made five pennants in different sizes and shapes. I glued the pennants on to the ribbon and then covered it with some lace.

I found some chipboard, different kinds of flowers and stickers. Then I die cut some elements, found some cute resin bird houses and just went for it.

More flowers, chipboards, stickers and die cuts....

Then i found this blue/teal bird chipboard that i thought went so well with the bird houses. More flowers and a resin frame that I added some white pearls in and a little bow under the flowers....

At the ends I put some smaller pennants and I added a big bow with a beautiful big pink flower.

Im gonna hang it up in the window or something in the spring.

Hello an HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hoppas ni mår bra idag? Lite sugen på att några av är kanske lite lagom idag, lol!

Borta hos oss var vi bara jag hennes fästman och dotter. Vi åt lite god mat som jag gjorde och spelade ett tv-spel som är en tradition här i sverige på nyårsafton, bingolotto. Jag tror att jag såg kanske två brandverk, vi bor ute på landet med många hästar och andra djur runt omkring, så för deras skalle gör vi inte brandarbetet längre. Vad gjorde du på nyårsafton och några nyårslöften?

Över på  A place to start  har vi en ny utmaning idag, som alltid går allt men denna månads twist är ett gate fold-kort.

Så här är mitt kort.....

Jag hittade några fina vinterpapper som jag bestämde mig för att leka med och som jag tyckte passade ganska bra med min färgbild. För många år sedan hade jag ett par scrapbooking kit prenumerations och dessa papper kommer från en av dessa kit. älskade att de är blingiga.

Jag gjorde ett band runt kortet som är lätt att glida av med en liten vinterönske.

Några blommor från min staschhäxa lade jag till några blå stickles på, och en liten kotte, blingy, blingy! 

I mitten av mitt kort la jag till min färgade bild, o snöglob, det var denna månadens kopiekurs på kit och clowder.

På höger sida av mitt kort gjorde jag en liten ficka med en etikett....

....så på baksidan av den lilla taggen kan du skriva ett litet meddelande.

Detta var allt från mig för den här gången. hoppas vi ses på  En plats att börja !

Something new over at A place to start

 Hello and happy monday!

Weekend is over so here we go again! But soon we have winter holiday!

Yesterday i baked some "lusse bullar" thats what we call them here in sweden and they are baked in christmas times. And yeah!, i always try to make it fun,lol!

Over at A place to start we have a new challange up, something new.

I have never made a shaker card before and think they look so fun, so i had to try do make one, so thats new for me. The little cow stamp is also new, or maybe not that new, but it was the first time i used it.

I colored the cow with my copics and then fussy cut it and glued it to the back ground. I made some frames and cut out some acetate from a package of die cuts that i have and glued the acetate to the frames. then i added two layers of puffy tape to the frames so that i then could put the sequins and little pearls inside.

I made my own cloud background stencil and used two different colors of distress inks.

I tried to upload a video of the shaker card but guess i failed, lol!
