613 avenue create/layout

 Hello! 

A new challenge is up over at 613 create! The challenge is as always anything goes but with the twist for the kids.

I did a layout for the first time in over years. Can’t really remember but think it was over 12 years ago I did a layout? 

Every year we go to this zoo with a sleepover and this is the view from our hotel room in the morning, it’s just so beautiful. 

So this little elephant was just perfect.

A perfekt time to craft/ seed box

Hello everyone!

It’s may and a new challenge is up on A perfect time to craft!  

One of our sponsor for this month is Beat paper and I have used some cute little Fairies.

I found this little box while scrabbling around in my crafty stuff that still are in boxes in our cellar. It was a bit bonky wonky but I thought that it would be perfect to store my little seed bags in, but of course I hade to give it a little make over.

First thing I did was paint it with some white gesso.

The I covered it with some patterned papers from prima. I chose a stencil and used some modeling paste to get a bit of structure on the box. I then sprayed on a bit of Lindys spray in the color rhododendron red.

I used some die cuts that I dry embossed the edges on with some embossing powder. I colored the fairies with copics and then I fussy cut out the two little fairies and placed them on the die cuts.

Im gonna use them as dividers for my seeds.

Some, flowers, butterflies, bling,  pearls, lace and other stuff from my stash.

And here is my little seed box!

613 Avenue Create/ make it colorful

Hello everybody!

Hope you al are well! Something fun is happening today!.... a new challange over at 613 avenue create, yay!

As always our challenges is anything goes, but if you want to play with the twist its make it COLORFUL!

Our sponsor this month is polkadoodles and I chose this cute little girl Gardening lily lady bug.

I wanted to follow the theme and make her and the card colorful.

I colored her with my copics and tried to make her and the flower really colorful. she's so cute!

I found some resist canvas from prima with some leaves. I love the pattern that shows up when adding some color to them. I used two different ink sprays.

Some colorful flowers, butterflies and some pearls. I also found a wooden frame in my chipboard basket. The patterned paper is from prima and i added a little doily behind the wooden frame.

And here is the finished card. can't wait to see what you al will be making.

A perfect time to craft/ tags

Hello everybody!

I I hope that you al have had a wonderful easter!

Here its just been me and my daughter since hubby ended up in the hospital.  But we have been fixing a lot here inside and prepping the garden for spring, then yesterday it started to snow again and got really cold. Darn it!

Anyways! ts time for a new fun challenge over at A perfect time to craft. The challenge is always anything goes, and i can't wait to see al of your entries.

Our sponsor this month is the hungry jpeg and oh my gooosch! so many beautiful bundles and images so it was hard to choose, I ended up using images from 3 different bundles, and the bundles I used are Dreamy charm, Pastel picnic and Gardening tools.

I mean really! so many beautiful images. I sat a half day just fussy cutting, and how can you choose when they al are so beautiful?

I will for sure be using them in my other stuff that I will be making.

I made 3 summery tags and in two of them I made inserts and space to write a little message. 

Today my hubbys son with girlfriend and her daughter came over for dinner so I used the tags like table placements and in the inserts I wrote a little message and on the backside of the tags I wrote some funny jokes, we al need a little laugh sometimes. 

The papers I have used is from Websters Paiges. 

I grabbed some stencils and used some distress ink to stamp on them and then I used some light modeling paste over that.

Here is one of the inserts, the little watercan were you can write a little message in if you want to. In this one I wrote.... we heart you to hubbys sons girlfriend.

I grabbed some stuff that I found in my stash, like some lace that I put on the bottom of the tags, and on this one I put a little zipper with a hanging bling.

I added some charms that I tought went well with the images.

Some ribbon on the top, and some other nice stuff that I found and thought that this one I gotta use on this tag, and of course some flowers.

A perfect time to craft

Hello everybody!

Im a few days late with my blog post but here we go!

Theres a new challenge up and running over at a perfect time to craft yay!

Our sponsor for this month is sheep ski designs and i have used a digi image called coffee and cake.

I wanted to try to do a little matchbox suite case that i filled with some yummy tasting tea bags, who doesent want a warm cup of yummy tea now when its still kinda cold outside and your just longing for the warmer days and spring to arrive. Here in Sweden we have +5c at the moment, so not too bad.

This is how it turned out.....

I used some distress stain and sprays to color the wooden flowers and leaves.

Then i added some golden mica powder on top of them to get some shimmer.

The papers i have used is from maja design called "fika". Dont know if you ever heard of swedish fika? Its kinda like well lets meet over some coffee and cake, and how matchy, matchy isnt that with the digi images name?!

I colored the images with my copics. I used flowers from my stash, a few dies and then i found the little spoon, cup cake and tea pot charms.

I made a little mini card where i put some tags so that you can write a little message. On the band around the little card i put the cup cake image and then i filled the box with tea bags.

So guess what! its about noon over here so now im going to go fix me some "fika"!

A place to start

Hello!

Its februari and time for a new challenge over at A place to start.

This months twist to the anything goes is .... monohcrome.

I choose to go with the color pink and this is what i came up with....

The papers are from magnolia and so is the big butterfly die cut....

I wanted to do a easel card with this black and white little girl holding her flowers, and something that looked like a brick wall. So i found this chipboard window and some small chipboard pieces that i first painted with gesso and then put some reisin sand on and then dry embossed it with pink/gold embossing powder, same with the frame. The butterfly i embossed with white/gold embossing powder.

Kinda looks like a brick wall....

Then some flowers, die cuts and more chipboard pieces...

and lastly i stamped the word fabulous on the frame.

I cant wait to see what you al will create for this months challenge.

Good morning everybody!

Here in Sweden we have a lovely sunny morning and 2+ c and almost al the snow is gone. I hope this weather will keep up cause i really dont like to go outside in the mornings when its - 20 c, and the funny thing is that neither does the little doggy. When its cold or rainy i have to carry her out. Bonny is hubbys daughters doggy but we have her Monday to Friday while shes at work, and Bonny is just like me, we dont like cold or rainy days and we dont like to go on long walks, lol.

I just have to share a few photos of her, cause even tho shes a bit crazy at times she gets away with almoust everything because she is so cute.

Enough about the doggy and on to the new challenge over at 613 create,yay!

This month challenge is as always anything goes but with the twist love letters.

I decided to do a little mini album to hubbys daughter and grandie.

Its an album from paisleys and polkadots that i have had for over ten years, and the fun part is that al the bits and pieces is already there you just have to assamble it and take off or ad on anything you want and i am that ad on girl

Hubbys daughter really loved it and she will give it as a birthday/valentines present to our grandie since her birthday is februari 6th.
